The systematic approach to design is necessary for the optimal solution. When applying the ADDIE phases, I believe strongly in the recursive nature of evaluation. Review and feedback are vital to the process and help make it effective and efficient in the long run.
Instructional systems technology provides a framework for educators to provide effective learner-centered experiences based on measurable learning outcomes. Courses should be designed to promote learning through interactive assignments and engaging material. The technology used should be chosen because it provides context and support for learning. The end result is that learners are armed with the appropriate skills. As an enthusiastic problem solver, I believe it is best to be open to all applicable theoretical approaches and instructional models when determining which best addresses the problem.
And, of course, communication and collaboration are key to a successful project.
